For systemic fungicide control ofPhytophthoraspp. and Beech Decline diseases in trees.
Indications
Whippet provides effective control ofPhytophthoraspp. and Pythium diseases associated with Stem and Canker Blight (Sudden Oak DeathPhytophthora ramorum) and Beech Decline
Application Rate
Inject 2-4 ml every 4″ around the base (flare) of the tree. See label for details.
Note: Depending on type of bark, reduce the dosage per injection site to 1/2 ml per site and double the number of injection sites.
Do not prune back trees before injection as burning of new growth may occur. Do not inject trees in winter months.
Do not cut back the canopy of injected trees.

Injections can be made any time during the growing season but are more effective when made early in the season. Do not inject trees in winter months

I bought Abacide 2 for a bark beetle infestation for my Italian Cypress tree's. I only just today applied the insecticide today. So, I can't yet give a review on how well the insecticide has worked at helping to save the trees that show signs of beetles or the trees I am trying to protect from them. What I can review is Eric T. at Tipco. He has been a treasure trove of information. He replies same day, if not within the hour. I must have emailed him at least five or six times. I emailed and called other places that offered the same products and services and could not get any help or advice. I think one place replied about 10 days later with minimal information. Even though it's only been a short time since the initial treatment, I have noticed a stark positive difference in the color and texture of the bark & leaves on all the trees.
I think the use of the Imisol combo product has been a great benefit to all of my trees.
We have used this for three years and have around 100 Ash trees that are doing fine so far, fingers crossed. Emrald Ashborer infestation is horrific! Thank you CCP!
