This product is very effective in fighting some diseases. But like any other product it has limitations. I have used this a time for Bleeding Canker on Beeches for years as a trunk wash. I do not use it as a foliar spray. I believe there are better alternatives. I purchased this 2.5 gal jug to begin treating my beech for Beech Leaf Disease. The tree is not infected at this time. I intend on keeping it that way. I have seen multiple beeches treated w/ Di-potassium salts that are staying free of BLD. Hopefully mine is one!

I have used Short-stop in many situations on many different shrubs and tree species since its inception. I am really amazed more landscapers and arborist’s don’t use it! It slows down big Hollies that people have to trim 3-4x yearly and keeps fast growing plants in check, so they need much less work for 3 full years! I see about a 70% reduction in year one, 90 in year two and 70 again in year three. Well worth the investment.

Goes very far as don’t need to use a lot per tree.
